Wayanad Secrets
Day 1
Arrival at Calicut Airport where you will be well received by our representative. From Calicut you will be taken to Wayanad the greenest district of Kerala. Enjoy the drive through thrilling hair pin bends surrounded by lush landscapes. On arriving at Wayanad transfer to your hotel / resort. Spend the rest of the day at leisure enjoying the eco friendly atmosphere. Day one ends with your stay in hotel / resort.
Day 2
Second day is for your Wayanad sightseeing. Visit Padinjarathara regarded as the habitat of country’s largest earth dam. Next is Kuruva Island, a small uninhibited island full of evergreen forest. Then go to Vythiri a location nestled in the thick jungles amidst the high ranges. Rest is at leisure. Stay at your hotel / resort.
Day 3
On the third day visit Thirunelly, the location of a sacred Temple set in dense forest. Thirunelly Temple is considered as the Banaras of the South in terms of religious importance. The river Papanasini that flows near the Temple is regarded as the remover of all lifetime sins. From Thirunelly you can go for a trekking upto the Pakshipathalam Bird Sanctuary. Adventurers can explore this area of prolific wildlife either on foot or by safari vehicle which is available on request. Rest is at leisure. Stay at your hotel / resort.
Day 4
Check out from the hotel / resort today. You will be transferred to the Airport at Calicut for departure. Tour ends.
